Summer in Favignana

The island of Favignana, unlike Levanzo and Marettimo, which are still part of the archipelago of the Egadi islands, to the west of Sicily, is an island characterized by coasts and inlets, coves and more or less jagged beaches, some more docile others less easy to reach. Among white sand, pebbles, coves and bays, Favignana presents its guests with a truly vast panorama of landscapes, vegetation and colours.
Sandy beaches in Favignana

During your stay in Favignana, you will have the opportunity to visit all the beaches and coves of the island, renting a bicycle, electric bike, scooter or car.

If you love sand and sandy beaches, in Favignana you will certainly have to stop, during your holiday on the island, at Cala Azzurra, famous for its splendid crystal clear waters and Lido Burrone where you can take advantage of the agreement proposed by I Pretti R.T.A. , one of the few equipped beaches on the whole island and, perhaps, on all three Egadi islands.

Close to our R.T.A. , a few meters away, in front of the island's port, is the Praia, the islanders' sandy beach, also just a few meters from the Florio establishment.

The sandy beach of Marasolo is also evocative and has truly unique nuances.

The most beautiful and famous beaches on the island of Favignana – Egadi islands

Surely, during your stay in Favignana, you cannot miss a day of sun, sea and emotions at the famous Cala Rossa which is known as one of the most beautiful coves on the island and certainly in the whole of Sicily.

Extraordinary colours, unique scents and vegetation, but the great peculiarity is that of being surrounded by a rich area of tuff quarries: a bath in this cove, capable of immersing the visitor in a unique natural setting, like an open sea swimming pool , absolutely not to be missed.

Near Cala Rossa, towards the southern area of the island of Favignana, you will also find the coves of Bue Marino, Punta Marsala, so called because you can glimpse the city of Marsala on the Sicilian coast, Cala Azzurra, Lido Burrone and then the "Calamoni" which are the ideal area for those who love rocks and white sand.
